Healthy Choices?

Hey gang how are we doing?  Are we still doing good on our new years' resolutions?  I don't know about you but I have been doing good on all of the self help research that I have been doing.  I am also doing good analyzing business research. 

But what about the diet?  Oops forgot about that resolution, no really it is hard because honestly I love to eat, afraid to feel empty, and just not too much discipline.  Sound Familiar?

Not another Oops what about the exercise program that I was supposed to start.  I walked one mile one day and well now let's see it is day twenty-one and counting.

I did talk with a doctor and he said that if we have someone that will hold us accountable everyday that our chances of success will be greater.

Now all of that brings me to my plan.  I need to find someone to be accountable to everyday.  I have thought and thought about it.  It should be someone who has been in my shoes so he can empathize with me.  It should be someone that lives by the same plans as me and that means healthy diet and exercise.

So after careful deliberation I have chosen my friend Kevin Ingle.  Now Oops I don't know how but I have to convince him to be my partner to be held accountable to!  It will be great!  Kevin is one fantastic role model about everything especially his high morals and his feelings about living a healthy lifetsyle.

Kevin don't smoke or drink.  He believes in good health, living on a diet where he is conscious of everything that he eats or drinks.  He exercises regularly and has the best disposition that you would be envious of.  Kevin is a solid christian and has good work ethics.

If you ever wanted to meet a person with a idealistic lifestyle than you would want to meet Kevin.

I hope that he will agree to be my accountable health partner.

Tranquility

Tranquility Get It!   Whatever it may be that gives you peace should be incorporated into your daily life.

Friends are a blessing!

Today was truly a blessed day for me.   I spent it with some really good friends.  I am blessed to have Cy and Cecelia in my life.  Cecelia is very witty and she always has the best advice that is always right on the mark with lots of great common sense to it.  Not only is she smart she lives a fully blessed life.  She has two great sons and some really great grandchildren.

After Computer was up and running we all three Cy, Cecelia, and me went to Hernandez Grocery and Mexican Restaurant for some of the best Beef & Chicken Fajitas!  While we were there we met this real authentic cowboy who trains horses and dogs.  He was very friendly, his name was Zane Williams.   He volunteered to be a model for Cecelia.   Cecelia is an artist.  She paints real life pictures.  This Zane is the perfect cowboy model from his warm smile and his cowboy hat down to his cowboy boots.  He seemed to be a very nice hardworking young man. 
                                                              

 And this is where the real fun and action began.  Cecilia painted on the Indian Portrait that she has been working on lately and I tried my hand at painting Saw Blades.  I had a terrific time.

These are my finished products!  Not bad for a first time!

Anyhow this is how I spent my day!  With my dear friends that I am thankful to have.

Day After Birthday Celebration!

Day After Birthday Celebration!

Today I feel great thanks to the fact that I did not celebrate my birthday by boozing it up yesterday! I had a very nice birthday visiting with family and friends.  I was taken out to eat dinner at a Chinese restaurant last night by Cy Martindale and my wonderful son Tyler Lamon. 

Matter of fact Cookies are out of the oven and I have already braved Walmart's store this morning.

I thank God that I have been blessed with another year here on earth.  This has been a great year and I pray that 2014 is just as great.
